Stop avoiding Siri

Like almost every Apple user, I tried using Siri a bit but gave up after a few marginally successful attempts. Since then, Siri essentially only appears by accident when I leave a finger on the home button too long or someone nearby utters something to the effect of, "hey Siri." However, she can actually be helpful! There are tons of useful commands (yes, more than the classic 'do I need an umbrella today?') and Apple has finally made a site to explain it.
